There are a lot of clearance items that ring up full price.
Nice grocery store. They have loads of specialty items you may not find in other stores. Their meat department has a very nice selection of good seafood and many other kinds of meat. One of the awesome things about this place is if you request something they'll bring it in. This location also has a very nice restaurant in it.
Hy-Vee always has great deals to take advantage of. Fuel saver option is wonderful. Customer service is always a great priority and they are willing to go the extra distance for you. Only draw back is when they remove some less than popular items that were Staples in your home.
The pharmacy often quotes a price and when you get there they give you a new, higher price.
Be careful of the prices. Double check EVERYTHING. Often the items between the HOT DEALS signs are not the hot deals but the regular higher prices items.
Friendly Staff. Good Selection. Fuel Saver points are useful. Order $100 worth of groceries and they deliver at no extra charge is a great addition to traditional grocery store experience. Pharmacy has nice people too but is sub par.
The building is always clean and filled with friendly staff at the busiest times of the day. The bakery is fantastic and the new restaurant in the front provides great home cooked style food at an amazing price. I love the fuel saver card and the weekly deals are always sure to save you some money. They also have the Hyvee Trader which allows people to post items for sale, services offered/needed, and various other things in our local area. Overall this place is the top of the line grocer in our area in my opinion.
